I advise multinational businesses with inbound and outbound Canadian and international tax planning. With over 25 years of experience, I work with clients on international acquisitions and dispositions, cross-border financings, restructurings and international joint ventures. This includes the implementation of tax-effective financing and supply-chain management solutions aimed at optimizing procurement and sales functions across global borders.

Previously, I played an active role in developing and shaping Canadian international tax policy, as Chief of the International Tax/Tax Legislation Division at Finance Canada from 2013 to 2015. I also served as Canada’s delegate to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on initiatives to combat base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS).
